Hi! I'm a life-long lover of games and have been wanting to spend more time learning how to make them myself. I've been learning how to use GameMaker for the last few months when I have time and capacity and it has been a challenging but fun process. You may notice that my games tend to center around a focus of appreciation for plants and animals. That's because my background is in ecology and conservation and I now spend my days as an environmental advocacy organizer and science communicator. I think games can be a great medium for not only fun but also for education and I hope to someday combine my interests and create educational games that inspire people to care for the land and find ways they can participate in advocating for it as well <3
I'm proud that my most recent game "A Spectrum of Salamanders" won best GameMaker game for DTJ27!!
I also want to add that I will NEVER knowingly use generative AI during any part of the process of developing my games nor will I use any pre-made assets that were developed with generative AI. I try to make as much as I can on my own for games but usually end up using a few pre-made assets from others (with proper credits and permission of course). If you ever notice something from my credits as being developed with AI please tell me so that I can remove it.
